Crusaders 2009
New Team Hits Town for AzFL's 15th season
Byron and Lynn Autry will be coaching and
owning the new team in the northeast valley when the Arizona
Football League kicks of it's 15th season in 2009. Look for more
info soon as the plans are finalized. Yes, the team has
officially locked in it's spot. Yes, players can talk to the new
owners now about playing for the Crusaders.
Once the season is over, the AzFL team rosters are open and
players can move to any team they wish. The Crusaders plan to
build a program for the community. A team that will be open for
players of all ages, (18 & Older).
Lynn is a pioneer in football for women in Arizona. She played
on one of the AzFL men's team a few years ago. Soon after that
she and Byron started the state's first women's pro team.
Together they bring a depth of talent and experience to the
game.
They are looking for players, coaches and staff. Lynn will be
the Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator and Byron (Autodog #24)
will be the Defensive Coordinator.
