Team Chaplins spend a lot of time praying for the league, the teams, the coaches and the players. He also enlisted the aid of prayer warriors around the state to lift up the AzFL and all the people involved. The AzFL plays games in Phoenix and travels to Globe, Sierra Vista, Flagstaff and Prescott for games on Sundays.
He does the pregame prayer and then walks around the games and prays. If there is a disturbance or an injury, before anyone even notices it, he is there laying hands on and praying with and for people. Brother Ansel receives words of knowledge that he allows us to share with the teams and in our publications.

They answered a challenge issued by our former Chaplain, Pat Anspach. He joined her on the sidelines and began interceding with her for the families of the league. Sister Pat is now in Heaven worshiping with the Angels. "Life is short, wounds run deep, chicks lose interest but Salvation is forever. Choose Life." - What they should have said!
