Attitude is the back-bone of this football club. So far, this has been one of the Southwest Stampede’s key to success in the AZFL. Returning players along with some new faces will make this season one to watch!
Last year, the Stampede made it to the championship game, but fell short. This adds fuel to the already burning fire that they will be carrying into the 2009 season. In ’07 and ’08, Stampede played with the motto: “We don’t talk, we hit!” We still play football like that, but this season is different. The Stampede have a target painted on their heads and every team is going to be looking out for them, so this year the motto is: Fight! Fight Fight! We will have to fight for every yard, fight for every score, and fight for every win!
The Stampede are looking for players of all levels who want to come play football and most important, have fun! So, if you played in high school, in college, or never played football at all, we have a place for you! Contact the AZFL for further details.
